Never being one for the office life, Rob instead took to the snow, the sea and the sun and traveled the world while doing so - it seemed like a life that just made more sense... A qualified ski examiner with the New Zealand Snowsports Instructors' Alliance, he spent 10 back-to-back winters coaching in New Zealand, Canada, Japan and the US, while also moonlighting in the super-yacht industry working as a day worker/deckhand/first-mate - sailing across the Atlantic to the Caribbean. Since returning to New Zealand in July of 2003, Kiwi Does It has been offering tailor-made, luxury New Zealand travel experiences to its discerning, high-end travelers.

Not only that, Rob also designs private travel for one of the world's most acclaimed active travel operators - Butterfield & Robinson - researching and guiding both private and group trips globally. Rob's passion for making people smile has resulted in a deep understanding of the art of luxury travel... 

Rob also has extensive experience in the NZ Film and TV Industry and has worked as an Assistant Director on Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The World's Fastest Indian and many more - with the costume polaroids to prove it! Vast life experience, a 'tell it like it is' honesty and consistent attention to detail makes him one of the most knowledgeable, personable, globally-experienced, luxury travel designers in New Zealand.
